Enjoyed a few days with great friends, Connie Whitener, Maria Plante, Tammy Wren, Judy Johnson and Donna Pettigrew at the Arizona Federation for Republican Women convention in Mesa, Arizona. We got to meet some great Americans: Kayleigh McEnanany, Trump's Press Secretary; Dr. Kelli Ward, Arizona GOP Chairman; Brandon Straka, The Walkaway Campaign; Jody Rushton, president of the National Federation of Republican Women; and Fox News' Bradley Blakeman as well a many 2020 candidates including the great Joe Arpaio. A great time and inspirational time was had by all and on top of it all, our club, Rio Colorado Republican Women of Yuma walked away with some impressive awards: A Gold for the Arizona Federation of Republican Women State Achievement award, AzFRW, the top award, Turquoise, for Caring for America; and 2nd place for the best Scrapbook, thank you Maria Plante.
Today we registered voters at the Gun Show this morning with Cecil Boelts and Melissa Gokmogol, the Chair of the Trump Victory 2020 campaign.
Colorado River Tea Party-Yuma is a proud supporter of the Wreaths Across America Program.
Those young Marines are real go-getters and assisted the Wreaths Across American crew. Thank you so much for supporting our veterans.
Representatives of Concerned Veterans For America accept the book containing over 500 signatures collected from all over Yuma thanking President Trump for signing the VA Mission Act at a dinner held at the American Legion Post 19 on October 11. The book's title comes from the distance a veteran would have to travel to get seen by a VA doctor in Tucson, AZ and return to Yuma.
The idea for the book was the 'brain storm' of Carl Kizer, Sally Kizer and Jim Hall. "The Yuma 500" signature book will be presented to President Trump in the near future by a representative of the Concerned Veterans For America organization in Washington, D.C.
The action button below will take you to the Concerned Veteran for America website.
The Colorado River Tea Party - Yuma hosted a candidate's forum for the people running for the Arizona Congressional District 3 seat in August 2018. Two of the three people running for this position showed up: Nick Pierson and Sergio Arellano. The third candidate, Edna San Miguel, was a 'no show'. The debate was lively as well as informative. Local radio host Russ Clark acted as MC and he kept the conversation moving. A very informative debate!
We host outdoor meetings (weather permitting), 'Pot Luck' luncheons & dinners, and informal candidate forums as well as rallies to demonstrate our patriotism and love of Country.
We strive to get everyone that wants to be involved the most correct and accurate information possible. We accomplish that goal with our newsletter emailed directly to your 'In Box' at no charge to you.
We are not afraid to show support for our President and to 'mix it up' in order to bring attention to what ails this Country. Too many men and women have paid the ultimate price in order to guarantee our freedom.
